I am sorry to have to report that Charles Bone lost his battle with cancer on Tuesday. He was a great Scout, friend and supporter of 1st Longworth Scout Group and will be greatly missed both there and across the District. For those able to attend. there will be a service of thanksgiving at 1pm on 29th January, at St John the Baptist Church in Kingston Bagpuize.
On a personal note, I had the pleasure of working with Charles on the District Executive over the last few years and was looking forward to his continued enthusiasm and support as I take up my new role in Scouting.
